The story goes like this...
In an attempt to seek higher returns and access to alternative investments myself and colleague wanted a way that we could spread out our capital and thus share the risk across many types of investments classified as "high risk, high return" - but also in this process we wanted to learn new things outside the scope of our "day-job" and equally have some fun!
On the back of this objective emerged RDCapital. Our objective is to create a syndicated investment group of qualified investors who fully a) understand the risks involved with this type of investment - and the potential returns it can offer and b) can bring something to the table besides capital, namely in the form of domain expertise in a particular field which we hope will generate investment ideas.
